My vision for Lehi includes prioritizing balanced growth over sprawl, and protecting our parks and access to natural resources, while keeping resident voices at the forefront.

Growth is inevitable and a signal that Lehi is a desirable location, however, we need to listen to existing residents’ needs when it comes to infrastructure and safety. Balanced growth will help increase the safety and beauty of our city. Having adequate streets, sidewalks, safe walking routes for school children, and a strong police and firefighter force, are the first steps. My goal is to lead our city in a way that supports existing residents, emphasizes collaboration with neighboring cities, and chooses long-term solutions for these impactful systems. When we do this, we will have success - now, and in the future. 

Lehi is a leader in Utah’s economy and is uniquely situated to influence both Salt Lake and Utah County. It has outpaced the expected growth for 2025 and is a hub for technology, healthcare, and education. While this creates exciting opportunities, we still want to benefit from the natural beauty of living in Utah. Access to adequate walking and biking routes, mountain bike trails on Traverse, community parks, and Utah Lake, must be preserved over development. I am committed to prioritizing the new Master Parks Plan to preserve these spaces. By doing so, we will be a more connected and healthy community.

My background as a mother, nurse, and service-oriented citizen, has given me the skills needed to be the voice for people and advocate for citizens of Lehi. We will make stable, long-term choices for our city and prioritize safe, and healthy outcomes. We have unique challenges in a unique time, but I believe we are up for the climb together.

I take community seriously, I am passionate about people, and I want to keep Lehi a great place to live. I am asking for your support as a Lehi City Council Candidate so that we can build and maintain a LEHI that we are all proud to call “Home.”
